a mobile music professional.

What is your Specialty? My specialty is truly listening to what my clients visualize their day to be. By knowing my clients and sharing their vision, I am able to add my personal touch to create an unforgettable event and a life time of memories.

Biographical Information: Sonny started his DJ career as a club DJ and radio personality. He quickly became one of the most sought after DJs for weddings and private events. With hard work, attention to detail, and a unique eye for finding DJ talent, Sonny accepted the position of senior music program director for America Live, whose parent company is Harbridge International. He was ultimately named the entertainment director for Harbridge and traveled throughout the United States to other Harbridge properties to help increase the entertainment value for its clientele.

Sonny DJs over 100 weddings every year, has been a featured MC for conventions, fashion shows and concerts, and has been a guest speaker at various conferences for Wedding Professionals across the United States. Extensively involved in the wedding and hospitality industry, he is a board member of the Sacramento chapters of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) and the Association for Wedding Professionals, International (AWPI), and in 2001, he founded and became president of SAAMP, the Sacramento Area Mobile Music Professionals. This last year, Sonny won the AWPI Professional of the Year award, and the 2002 NACE Affiliate of the Year.

It is, however, Sonny's professionalism, his personal touch while MCing, and his love for the music that exceeds the expectations of his wedding and special event clientele.

Favorite Wedding Quote: (From the Father of the bride to the couple) "Some time back, somebody asked me how long I have been married. And, my quick response was "forever." And, I got to thinking about it. That wasn't quite the right answer. The correct answer was "I have been married for as long as I care to remember" because I don't want to remember anything before that. Your mom is the light of my life. She is why I do what I do. And, what I wish for the both of you is for you to have that kind of love and that kind of feeling for the rest of your life. Congratulations and welcome to the family."

If you were a record, what song would you be? Why?
I would be "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. The song reminds me of just how incredible the feeling of love can be. I love how the song can touch the hearts of young and old alike. My wish is to give my clients that much joy on their wedding day.
